Tonight, xAI announced the rollout of an enhanced version of its premier chatbot model to all users on X, formerly known as Twitter. Elon Musk’s X, a platform that typically serves as a testing ground for innovations, has enabled the development of an enhanced Grok, boasting threefold speed improvements. According to xAI, this advanced AI “exhibits improved accuracy, instruction-following abilities, and multi-lingual capabilities.”
Customers with free accounts are limited to asking Grok 10 questions every two hours. Subscribers to X’s Premium and Premium+ plans enjoy increased utilization limits for enhanced flexibility.
XAI has introduced a new feature, the “Grok button”, within its platform X, aimed at helping users discover “related context, stay up-to-date on real-time events, and delve deeper into trending conversations.”
The startup is refining its core product by implementing several key adjustments.
Explainable AI’s latest API updates feature enhanced efficacy, particularly in tandem with the Grok fashion pair, offering improved multilingual performance, according to the company. Pricing has been revised downward due to the effectiveness of our platform’s features, with new rates of $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens, down from the previous prices of $5 per million input tokens (~750,000 phrases) or $15 per million output tokens.
By the end of the quarter, xAI’s cutting-edge image processing model is expected to integrate seamlessly with its API, according to the company’s announcement. Aurora, a newly unveiled, unfiltered picture AI, debuted in February on the Grok chatbot platform, offering users unprecedented creative freedom.
