With a value exceeding UAH 114 billion ($2.77 billion USD), these cutting-edge unmanned aerial vehicles exemplify Ukraine’s commitment to elevating its defense capabilities through the integration of advanced technology. With a total order of some magnitude, Ukraine has thus far received a staggering 1.28 million drones valued at an impressive UAH 81 billion. By the end of the year, an additional 366,940 pieces of equipment are expected to be successfully supplied to Ukrainian forces.

The combined value of contracts for 2024 and 2025 totals approximately UAH 147 billion, highlighting Ukraine’s significant investment in drone technology. The Ministry highlights that various elements within the Protection Forces – including the Ministry of Interior Affairs, National Police, National Guard, and Security Service of Ukraine – operate independently in this space, issuing separate contracts.
