The fate of the Realme GT 7 Pro’s global pricing will be determined by this week’s ballot outcome?

The company is poised to launch in India, its maiden international market, by a specific date, with this move potentially being a make-or-break moment for their cellphone brand. While the value is appreciated in its domestic market, it’s apparent that individuals are concerned about the global pricing, likely exceeding the ₹42,000/$505/€465 worth obtained through a straightforward currency conversion.

The majority of voters chose the pricing situation as their top option on the ballot, with over a third of respondents selecting this choice. A few out of five individuals are attracted to the cellphone and can take a detailed look at it as soon as it becomes available in their vicinity.

Weekly poll results: the global pricing of the Realme GT 7 Pro will decide its fate

While overall satisfaction with the hardware appears to be high, some users have expressed dissatisfaction. In contrast to Chinese models, Indian fashion purchases may lack the substitute for the 6,500mAh battery capacity typically found in their Chinese counterparts. It’s a significant setback and an unfortunate consequence of disparate regulations surrounding battery-powered devices across various regions. The 8-megapixel camera, with its surprisingly limited scope, was another oft-cited issue.

While some voters are attracted to various top-tier models, many others await global availability, mirroring the situation with the Realme GT 7 Pro, making direct value comparisons challenging – we can only assess relative values based on China’s pricing.

Notwithstanding this, the GT can still gain an edge by undercutting the prices of most Snapdragon 8 Elite and Dimensity 9400 models to succeed. Join us next week to learn what price point Realme is considering for its latest release.
