Xiaomi has previously announced that it will release a new generation of Poco X phones by some point in the future, ahead of the year 2024. The moment is almost here, and you’re invited to join our celebration as we officially introduce the X7-series – are you ready?
Given the company’s meticulous hints, we’ve gained a certain level of insight into what to expect. Two devices are expected to launch: a standard Vanilla edition and a more advanced Professional variant, with specific editions also being considered.
The device is likely to be powered by the latest advanced mid-range chipset, along with a massive 6,550mAh battery, slightly smaller at 6,000mAh in the global model. The expected starting price point will likely be below ₹30,000 ($350/€340). There will likely be another one as well.
The device can boast a unique twin-camera design, paired with a 50-megapixel primary sensor featuring optical image stabilization (OIS) and an impressive IP69 rating for exceptional durability. The vanilla X7 is likely to be powered by the Dimensity 7300 processor.
The professional-grade mannequin is capable of achieving an IP68 rating without relying on a novel water-jet safety feature.
The X7 Professional camera also comes equipped with 50 megapixels of primary resolution, utilizing the LYT-600 sensor, along with an f/1.5 aperture and a dedicated 20-megapixel front-facing camera for enhanced selfies. There is no phase on the opposite cameras for the X7 and X7 Professional either.
