I’ve arranged my time machine to include an external SSD in its backup system. Initially, the process struggled to get underway, but shortly afterwards, it faltered within a mere 30-second window during the ‘preparing backup’ phase. Here’s what I consider to be related console output: The following output will be displayed when you run the program. It includes the initial prompt and the first few lines of output from the program. This is typically a good starting point for debugging, as it shows the sequence of commands that have been entered and their corresponding outputs.

Frustratingly unclear as to what specific actions might be triggering this issue. I manage my Solid-State Drive (SSD) exclusively for storing Logic Pro project files and various recording data, frequently working with the files stored on it. I typically transfer large volumes of data onto the external drive in order to free up space on my internal hard drive.
The initial occurrence of this issue emerged and was resolved three weeks sooner without any apparent underlying cause.

Issues I’ve tried:
- First-aiding the Time Machine drive and the SSD: No points for you!
- Deleting interrupted backup records?
- The data protection settings for your personal drive have been revised to prevent external access.
- While storage drives have traditionally been a major bottleneck,
- restarting whereas drives related
