“After I noticed Miyazaki’s movie Princess Mononoke, it modified the best way I thought of animation. I liked all the pieces about that movie and it made an enduring impression on me. After I went to create Ahsoka Tano, I knew I needed to imbue her with a little bit of San. So that is why Ahsoka has two ‘wolf fangs’ on her cheeks, in homage to Miyazaki’s movie.”
