Samsung is poised to revolutionize the entry-level market by introducing a game-changing alternative to Google’s Gemini.

Samsung phones are poised to significantly enhance access to Google’s Gemini platform, according to a detailed analysis of the latest Google app for Android. The revised text reads: This discovery reveals specific code sequences tracing the potential for invoking Gemini through a prolonged press of the facility button.

As previously, one could potentially trigger Bixby or access the feature via this gesture alone. However, with Gemini’s introduction, users now have a new option to consider.

Samsung is ready to give you a new way to access Google's Gemini

Despite significant investment and promotion, Samsung’s Bixby assistant has yet to rival the Google Assistant in terms of overall intelligence, while still providing value through specific task-oriented functionality.

Samsung appears to be relinquishing some of Bixby’s core functionality to Google, despite our initial assumption that the switch to invoking Gemini with a long-press of the power button would not become the new default.

The code strings pinpointing this transfer exhibit a high degree of specificity towards Samsung devices; users can confidently proceed by pressing the ‘Aspect’ button to interact with Gemini during Gemini’s setup wizard, which refers to the physical navigation button commonly known as the “Aspect” button by Samsung.

While the exact timeline for the launch remains uncertain, the impending release of the One UI 7 beta, built upon Android 15, presents a propitious moment to introduce this feature.
