Miika Okay.I. With advanced technology, you can now train and control your assistant using simple hand gestures or audio commands, all through a user-friendly app. To use the app, simply a smartphone or tablet is required. Um Miika Okay.I. Designed for children between 10 and 14 years old to create a safe play experience, the app operates offline without web connectivity, storing neither image nor audio files and transmitting no data to servers.
For instance, Miika can be taught to respond to a thumbs-up or a “like” with a corresponding spin or nod of approval. Children’s creativity knows no bounds when interacting with Mika’s artificial intelligence. There are two types of AI that can be trained: one model that responds to the camera image on a smartphone or tablet, and another that reacts to perceived sounds.
The robot is equipped with an LED display that can render texts, symbols, and facial expressions. Mikka can move, blink, and emit sounds from itself. The control is executed through an app that operates offline to ensure data privacy.
Miika Okay.I. offers children the opportunity to experientially encounter the technology of the future and convey a grasp of technological understanding in an engaging manner. The experimental box was awarded the Toy of the Year in 2023.
The delivery package includes components for assembling the robot, a Bluetooth-enabled circuit board with an LED display, two motors, and an instruction manual. Four 1.5-volt batteries of the LR03 type (AAA or Micro) are required for operation. The robot measures 425mm × 265mm × 79mm and weighs 766 grams.
