Rethinking Cloud Strategies for AI-Driven Businesses

To fully harness the power of AI at scale, it’s not just about top executives’ buy-in – becoming an AI-first organization demands substantial, long-term investments in cloud infrastructure and technology. By 2024, the cloud has transcended its initial role as a storage solution and cost-saving tool, emerging as a transformative catalyst for innovation, upheaval, and widespread change. Now, with AI within the combine, enterprises need to the cloud to assist massive language fashions (LLMs) to maximise R&D efficiency and stop cybersecurity assaults, amongst different high-impact use circumstances.

A survey conducted by Infosys suggests that companies’ readiness to harness the combined power of cloud and AI remains uncertain. To further gauge the preparedness of enterprises for an integrated cloud and AI strategy, MIT Knowledge Assessment Insights and Infosys conducted a survey of 500 business leaders across industries such as IT, manufacturing, financial services, and consumer goods regarding their organizations’ approaches to and implementations of this strategic integration.

Mostly, companies are actively preparing their infrastructure landscape for AI adoption from a cloud-based standpoint, with many poised to invest further in accelerating their advancements.
