The Current Days row, previously displaying photos and videos from a few days prior, now also showcases recently saved media.
The modifications arrived following a substantial quantity of suggestions from customers of the beta working models. Complaints about recent changes to the app have been diverse and vocal, with some users expressing concern that simplifying its features has inadvertently made it less user-friendly and more difficult for them to quickly access the information they need.
The Picture app enhancements appear to be exclusive to the fifth developer betas of the autumn operating system releases. This modification solely exists within the preliminary developer beta, making it accessible solely in iOS 18.0; subsequent iterations, together with iOS 18.1, won’t include these adjustments till Apple deploys them in a later construct.
