Paris-based ChapsVision has acquired Sinequa, a leading provider of cognitive search and unified information access solutions, in a deal worth €85 million. The acquisition aims to further bolster ChapsVision’s artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities, enabling customers to unlock the value hidden within their vast amounts of unstructured data.

A French startup specialising in AI-enhanced knowledge processing solutions has announced the acquisition of a Paris-based startup that leverages AI-powered enterprise search and Retrieval-Augmented Technology.

The company’s transfer received a significant boost from a third round of funding totalling €85 million, led by a consortium of prominent investors including Tikehau Capital, Qualium Investissement, Bpifrance, GENEO Capital, and Jolt Capital. The Twin initiative reinforces Chap’s Vision’s international progress aspirations, thereby amplifying its technological prowess.

As of 2019, ChapVision stands out for its cutting-edge software suite, enabling corporations and government entities to derive valuable insights and inform strategic decisions by harnessing diverse data sets effectively. As its flagship platform, ArgonOS facilitates digital transformation across industries aligned with manufacturing, life sciences, aerospace, and defense. The acquisition of Sinequa further enhances ArgonOS by combining its expertise in cognitive search with Sinequa’s renowned capabilities in AI-driven natural language processing, thereby enriching the platform’s overall functionality.
