What drives innovation?

Oriental Motor has announced the availability of its latest Cartesian robot, featuring a three-axis configuration, which can be controlled using the company’s MRC Series controller and AZ Series motor drivers. The robotic arm is designed to handle payloads of up to 2.5 kilograms, with a transfer area measuring 300 millimeters by 300 millimeters by 100 millimeters in the X-Y-Z dimensions.

The corporation notes that its Cartesian robotic system arrives fully assembled with three linear slides, streamlining setup and reducing labor requirements.

The corporation highlights its MRCU Collection Built-in Robotic Controller, which integrates the MRC01 controller with up to six AZ Collection mini-drivers within a single, space-saving module, simplifying cabling and reducing installation costs. Enabling seamless Ethernet/IP or I/O connectivity, this device serves as a superior alternative to the brand-new OVR Collection or AZ Collection DC enter actuators.

The key features of the MRC01-C Cartesian Robotic Controller from Oriental Motor comprise a three-stage programming methodology, direct EtherNet/IP control without requiring ladder logic, and the ability to simulate operation using the complimentary MRC Studio Simulator software.

Since its inception in Japan in 1885, Oriental Motor has established itself as a global leader in motion control solutions, dedicating over a century to the continuous pursuit of technological innovation and product design excellence.
