A foldable smartphone has been developed in China, with the aim of eventually making it available globally. The Samsung Galaxy S6 smartphone has received certification from various organizations, including SIRIM in Malaysia and SDPPI in Indonesia, as well as being listed in the Digicam FV 5 database with model number CPH2671.

Given that the Oppo Find N5 and OnePlus Open 2 share similarities, it is reasonable to assume they are essentially the same device, with slight variations in branding or software customization.

The rear camera in the Digicam FV 5 database is specified as 12.6 megapixels, suggesting a maximum resolution of 50 megapixels, which is not unexpected, given that this figure represents the effective resolution achieved through 4-in-1 pixel binning.

The primary camera, reportedly equipped with a 7.1-megapixel sensor, could potentially produce 28.4 megapixels before pixel binning, which is an unconventional decision for digital camera sensors, leading us to speculate that some cropping may be involved; thus, we are likely looking at a 32-megapixel selfie snapper. The primary rear camera boasts an impressive f/1.9 aperture, while its selfie counterpart features a slightly narrower f/2.4 aperture.

The Oppo Discover N5 and OnePlus Open 2 should boast the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, coupled with three rear cameras boasting a combined 150 MP resolution, featuring a periscope telephoto lens, while being powered by a robust 5900mAh battery supporting rapid charging via both wired (80W) and wireless (50W) technologies, and flaunting an IPX8 rating for exceptional water resistance.
