The flagship Z60 model undergoes a significant overhaul, featuring an upgraded Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, highlighted by a powerful Cortex-X4 CPU core running at 3.4GHz, accompanied by a GPU boost of 1GHz. Nubia asserts that the enhanced System-on-Chip (SoC) enables the Z60 to excel exceptionally in AI-related tasks, allowing for the seamless execution of on-device AI models with up to ten billion parameters.

The device’s entrance features a uniform 6.8-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, complemented by an under-display camera that accommodates the 12-megapixel front-facing camera, which now incorporates an advanced enhancement algorithm for capturing crystal-clear selfies.

The NeoVision AI Image System 2.0 incorporates AI-driven enhancements into its cameras. The Nubia Z60 Pro leverages similar hardware to its counterpart, the Z60 Extreme, but enhances the 35mm primary camera by equipping it with a cutting-edge Sony 9-series sensor. The upcoming camera upgrade boasts an 18mm ultra-wide-angle lens, which retains its impressive 50-megapixel resolution while boasting a larger aperture, alongside a 64-megapixel periscope lens (equivalent to 85mm) that now comes equipped with advanced AI telephoto capabilities.

The software program’s aspects are covered by Android 14, with nubia’s MyOS 14 serving as the primary operating system. The phone maintains a substantial battery capacity of 6,000 mAh and still offers rapid 80W wired charging capabilities.

The Nubia Z60 Extreme Main Model is now available in both sleek black and sophisticated silver hues, boasting a starting price point of $649, €729, or £649 for this cutting-edge device. Preorders are now available, with open general sales set to commence on August 12 via nubia’s official website.
