We’ve developed a new training path, the Supporting Cisco Devices for Field Technicians (FLDTEC), to facilitate obtaining the brand-new certification. The Streamlined Studying Path for Cisco Certification replaces the previous courses, Supporting Cisco Collaboration Devices (CLTECH), Supporting Cisco Data Center Technology Devices (DCTECH), and Supporting Cisco Routing and Switching Network Devices (RSTECH).
The FLDTEC Studying Path offers a plethora of advantages.
- The coaching has been streamlined and condensed from 25 to 29 hours to a focused 10-hour program, preserving the essential elements necessary for the exam.
- The coaching features advanced, interactive tools designed to significantly enhance learner engagement and retention.
- This coaching further encompasses essential topics such as unified computing systems (UCS), hardware recognition, cabling infrastructure, configuration backup and recovery procedures, and software updates/rollbacks.
While this course does not confer Persevering with Schooling (CE) credit, it will equip you with valuable skills essential for the exam and a career as a field technician.
The Studying Path directly prepares you for the latest Supporting Cisco Devices for Field Technicians (500-150 FLDTEC) v1.0 exam, offering numerous enhancements over previous versions:
- The single examination has been condensed into a 120-minute duration, a significant reduction from the previous trio of tests featuring 90-minute modules.
- It now comprises 100 key features, a significant reduction from the 240 present in earlier versions.
- Examination matters expand to encompass fundamental networking principles, routine maintenance duties, and tools; Cisco software, infrastructure, collaboration frameworks, hardware alternatives, Unified Computing System (UCS), and data center architecture.
The examination has no specific criteria to measure student performance. Regardless of the approach, we firmly recommend that you review the exam questions beforehand, as outlined in the Learning Path.
The brand-new CCT Discipline Technician certification and examination will debut on December 12, 2024, via Pearson Vue. Cisco coaching is available online through their official platform, Cisco University. beginning December 5, 2024.
As of February 9, 2025, the current CCT certifications – including Collaboration, Information Middle, and Routing and Switching – will be phased out and no longer available. Existing certification holders may continue to utilize their current certifications until they expire, but are encouraged to consider taking the new Supporting Cisco Devices for Field Technicians (500-150 FLDTEC) v1.0 exam for recertification purposes.
