MightyFly – Senior Check Pilot – SUAS Intelligence

As the senior check pilot, I personally oversee the development of the flight test program’s core capabilities. As the Pilot in Command, you will assemble MightyFly’s experimental unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) plane for flight, perform pre-flight checks to ensure its airworthiness, lead mission planning to support the test flight team, record flight data, and provide detailed debriefings to the group. As the Lead Check Pilot, you may be responsible for briefing crew members and maintaining flight safety. Diverse responsibilities encompass collaboration with the team to conceptualize operational plans, harmonizing efforts with airport authorities, conducting assessments to gauge preparedness for incoming pilots, and providing support for our inaugural pilot launch. At times, we also offer the opportunity to collaborate with our engineering and construction team, providing input on design alternatives and assisting in assembling our airframe and subsystems.

Throughout most of history, this location has often served as a refuge from the drudgery of daily employment. Flight testing currently occurs at a limited-access airfield situated near Tracy, California, hampered by outdated facilities. Throughout the United States, demonstration projects may be conducted in various locations, offering opportunities for you to play a crucial role in the logistical planning and execution of these initiatives. WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Carefully review flight schedules departing from our floor station, ensuring that pilots are responsible for overseeing both Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) and Visual Line of Sight (VLOS) flights.
• Conduct in-flight inspections, integrate mission planning, flight briefing, and flight security assessments to ensure seamless operations.
• Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections on all unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), ensuring seamless takeoff procedures and optimal performance during missions.
• Ensure the upkeep of our online review platform functionality.
• Test various user interface elements and simulate realistic scenarios, including failures, to provide valuable insights to the software development team. Become a skilled pilot by training with the MightyFly aircraft simulator?
• Develop comprehensive operating procedures and coaching guides in collaboration with the team.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of experts to design, execute, and rigorously test various scenarios on the floor.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• Present Business Pilot License (PPL)
• Pilot expertise in operation of large-scale unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) aircraft with maximum takeoff weights exceeding 55 kilograms.
• Skilled in operating computer systems and proficient with a wide range of advanced technology hardware and software.
• Maintenance and Upkeep Essentials for Trailers and Towing Vehicles?

  As a trailer owner, ensuring the proper maintenance and upkeep is crucial for safe and enjoyable towing experiences. Here’s a comprehensive guide to get you started:

  **Trailer Maintenance:**

  1. Regularly inspect your trailer’s tires, brakes, lights, and wiring for signs of wear or damage.
  2. Check and maintain proper tire pressure to prevent uneven wear and improve traction.
  3. Lubricate moving parts, such as hinges and locks, to prevent rust and corrosion.
  4. Inspect and clean the trailer’s exterior and interior regularly to prevent dirt buildup and damage from UV rays.

  **Towing Vehicle Maintenance:**

  1. Regularly check your vehicle’s tire pressure, oil levels, and brake fluid levels to ensure safe towing performance.
