As a flight operations crew member, you’ll occupy a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and environmentally responsible operation of our unmanned aircraft systems. As a key team player, you will provide essential support to flight operations and check flights by assisting the Senior Check Pilot, serving as an integral member of their crew. As part of your responsibilities, you will also be accountable for ensuring the ongoing airworthiness of aircraft by conducting regular inspections, maintenance, repairs, and retrofits as required.

To excel in this role, one must possess a strong aptitude for strategic thinking and exceptional verbal and written communication skills, as well as the adaptability to thrive both autonomously and within a collaborative team environment. You must possess a profound comprehension of aviation regulations, security protocols, and testing procedures. You must be adept at swiftly identifying and resolving complex issues within a dynamic operational environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Seeking experienced floor crew member to support flight operations and provide visible observer services.
  • Resolve complex technical problems related to aircraft systems using a combination of specialized software tools and hands-on skills.
  • Establish comprehensive upkeep procedures, comprising meticulous checklists and detailed logs to ensure seamless maintenance and minimize downtime.
  • Ensure that the FMC accurately checks in with our team by regularly updating its mission status.

    Also, guarantee seamless communication on the flight deck by maintaining functional floor help tools and a reliable plane.

  • Transport aircraft, personnel, and equipment to and from designated website locations.
  • Roster of Check Website and Floor Help Tools.

  • The company is seeking enhancements to its website’s user experience and functionality?
  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Check Pilot and Airport Administration to discuss and harmonize flight scheduling requirements, operational constraints, and regulatory limitations.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Experienced specialist with in-depth knowledge of complex flight operations and rigorous testing environments for airworthiness certification.
  • Proficiency in managing large-scale (exceeding 50 kilograms) unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) or vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) aircraft within a team-oriented setting.
  • Plane upkeep
  • Electrical techniques fundamentals and troubleshooting
  • 107 distant pilot license 
  • Highly skilled in computer systems, with expertise spanning both hardware and software programs.
  • Degree of consolation within vehicle’s capacity for hauling trailers, towing, and performing standard automotive maintenance tasks.
  • Developing a proprietary approach to building methodologies from scratch.

  • Documentation abilities

  • A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) Certification
  • Private Pilot Certificate (Sport, Recreational, and other categories).
  • Engineering bachelor diploma
  • The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations governing Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), also known as drones, are outlined in Part 107 of the Federal Aviation Regulations. The key requirements include:

    Must register with the FAA before operating a UAS;
    Must be at least 16 years old to operate a UAS for recreational purposes, and must be at least 18 years old to operate a UAS commercially;
    Must pass an aeronautical knowledge test within 60 days of applying for a remote pilot certificate;
    Must possess visual line-of-sight with the UAS;
