Despite unknown reasons, Iterm2 fails to establish connections with certain local servers. I get:
SSH connection to host 192.168.252.248 on port 22 failed due to no path being available.
Initially, I assumed a connection to SSH; yet, even ping fails.
No response from host 192.168.252.248; request timed out.
On the built-in terminal, this functionality operates as intended, and the browser successfully establishes a connection to the system’s .248 network interface.
Although my initial suspicion fell on Little Snitch, a closer examination reveals that there are no inherent barriers preventing users from accessing iTerm2 directly. I’ve further disabled the community filter solely to test its disconnection from the issue, but unfortunately, this adjustment has yielded no positive results. Although this assertion isn’t an exact analogue of uninstallation, it’s unlikely Little Snitch is the primary culprit in this scenario.
After all, there’s a scope hyperlink path to 192.168.252.0/24?

Though this may not have been the underlying problem, assuming it genuinely functions differently across various functionalities.
I have no issues connecting to any hosts or devices via iTerm2, and I’m able to establish connections without any issues using the default settings, including my router’s network interface.
It’s possible that iTerm2’s profile settings, particularly those related to terminal appearance and behavior, could influence the display of the text. For example, modifying the profile’s font, size, or encoding might affect how characters appear on screen. Additionally, adjusting the profile’s color scheme or highlighting options could impact the visual presentation of the text.
Utilizing macOS Sierra 15.0.1 and iTerm2 3.5.5.
Despite previously uninstalling Little Snitch entirely to rule out any potential interference, the issue persisted unabated.
