What it’s essential know

  • Fresh leaks surrounding the upcoming Pixel Watch 3 have reportedly uncovered a wealth of details on the device’s features, leaving little to the imagination for what Google and Fitbit have planned for the wearable’s options.

  • Yesterday, July 29, a sneak peek at the Pixel Watch 3’s array of bands and color options was revealed.

Details about Google’s Pixel Watch 3 have emerged, bringing with them several exciting new features.

Leaks of purported Pixel Watch 3 promotional materials may have potentially derailed Google’s plans for the device. The publication’s review provided a direct comparison of the Pixel Watch 3 with its predecessor. The image implies that the impending system upgrade will introduce a 20% acceleration in charging speed specifically for the 41mm model alone.

The display is said to feature an Actua show boasting a peak brightness of up to 2,000 nits, significantly outshining the 1,000-nit AMOLED panel in the 2023 model. Google’s latest feature, dubbed “Battery Saver,” allows users to squeeze an additional 36 hours of use out of their device without breaking the bank.

According to sources, the upcoming device is expected to boast an impressive 24-hour battery life even when Always-On Display is enabled. One significant drawback of the new Pixel Watch and its successor was that users desired to recharge it at least once daily.

The image hints at the upcoming Pixel Watch 3 boasting “Advanced Performance Metrics.” Although the material didn’t elaborate on this feature, it did showcase a “Daily Brief” display. According to reports, a recently leaked image suggests that Fitbit will introduce a feature that provides users with an abstract summary of their essential health and wellness metrics. This functionality is expected to motivate individuals to either push themselves harder the next day or take a well-deserved break.

The concept of “cardio load” purportedly assesses the extent to which one’s cardiovascular system is being taxed during exercise, serving as a guide to ensure that workouts are neither overly demanding nor optimally effective.

The release implies that the Pixel Watch 3 will enable users to access and monitor their connected Nest Doorbell cameras directly through the system. The point of doing this isn’t new; even Ring put out OS 3 updates to their smart doorbells. While Google hasn’t explicitly confirmed this feature, allowing live feeds from a user’s Nest Cam or doorbell on their Pixel Watch 3 would be an attractive addition.

The leak suggests that Google may bundle a live strap alongside the suitable charging cable/puck with the purchase of the Pixel Watch 3.

Following a series of major breaches, additional leaks have emerged at an alarming rate. The 41mm model is said to feature its own selection of four styles: Stretch, Steel Mesh, Steel Slim, and Two-Tone Leather, each available in different color options.

The Apple Watch models, including the 41mm and 45mm sizes, offer six distinct case options featuring a variety of color choices.

Rumors surrounding the Pixel Watch 3 have surfaced, with estimates suggesting that this new wearable device may come with a hefty price tag. While we rely on the system being unveiled throughout Google’s annual event, some speculate that the watch might make its debut separately later this year.
