As a child of the 60s, I grew up enamored with science fiction. The futuristic landscapes and otherworldly creatures transported me to new dimensions, sparking my imagination and fuelling my passion for this genre. I developed a passion for science fiction after watching TV shows. Growing up, there was one TV show in particular that stood out to me – it was a groundbreaking series with a diverse cast and crew, being the first of its kind in America. What resonated with me was seeing people who looked like me on screen, making it feel more relatable and authentic.

The 1970s television series “The Waltons” featured a number of guest actor appearances, including the talented William Windom, who portrayed Dr. Richard Daystrom. The brilliant scientist engineered an extraordinary, self-aware computer that surpassed all expectations. It was pioneers like Isaac Asimov and Arthur C. Clarke who initially sparked my fascination with science fiction. After which, he arrived here. And I cherished the . I fondly recall the offbeat cinematic gems, such as David Bowie’s “Lazarus,” which held a special place in my heart and remains one of my all-time favorite films.
