Jetson is rapidly gaining prominence as an emerging player in the eVTOL industry. Our presence spans across Italy and the United States. Is our mission to empower a global community of pilots, democratizing access to the skies for everyone? As we gaze into the horizon, a world of airborne innovation beckons, where aerial transportation becomes an integral part of our daily lives.
We are actively seeking top talent from around the world to join our global team. Our consulting firm’s analysis and improvement center is located in the charming town of Arezzo, Tuscany, where our team of expert consultants are based.
Jetson is currently seeking several individuals to join its Flight Operations team in Italy.
- Conduct flight tests on Jetson ONE prototype aircraft, assuming the roles of both Pilot-in-Command and Distant Operator.
- Elevate the performance and sustainability of cutting-edge vehicles by optimizing their engineering and eco-friendliness.
- Talk with R&D engineers and different crew members to coordinate take a look at flights
- Undertake autonomous aerial operations in designated areas under extraordinary circumstances.
- Develop comprehensive documentation in conjunction with the Flight Operations Manual, Pilot’s Operating Handbook, Emergency Procedures manual, and Specific Operational Risk Assessment to ensure a robust aviation safety framework.
- Automobiles take to the skies: High-octane shows and thrilling tests.
- Hold a valid VDS Helicopter License, alternatively, possess an EASA-issued PPL(H) or CPL(H).
- The safety of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) is paramount. To ensure the well-being of all personnel involved in the operation of these systems, it is crucial to maintain a specific set of standards for each particular system.
All UAS operators must adhere to the standards outlined by authorities such as the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) or the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
- What does it take to become a successful pilot?
- Vessel Design Standards (VDS) regulations govern the construction and operation of commercial vessels. Key principles include:
Certification: Commercial vessels must obtain certification from a recognized organization (RO), ensuring compliance with international or national regulations.
Rules for Building and Classing Steel Vessels: The American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) provides guidelines for vessel design, materials, and fabrication to ensure structural integrity.
Safety equipment and appliances: Vessels must be equipped with essential safety gear, such as life rafts, fire-fighting equipment, and communication devices.
MARPOL Annexes: The International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships (MARPOL) sets standards for discharge and emission limits for air pollutants, oil, and hazardous waste.
Inland Waters Vessel Design Standards: National or regional regulations may apply to vessels operating exclusively in inland waters.
