Apple is set to manufacture the iPhone 16 Pro Max in India for the first time this year as part of its efforts to diversify production beyond China.
Apple is said to have been considering manufacturing its Pro series in India for several years, and has now decided to produce the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max models in the country.
The iPhone 16 Pro models will be initially imported into the country before Apple begins local production to cater to both the domestic market and exports by mid-September, following the completion of the New Product Introduction process.
