Microsoft commissioned a global study by IDC, “Unlocking Value: How AI Drives Financial Impact,” to help partners better comprehend the value that AI can unlock. According to a comprehensive study conducted by IDC, more than 600 caregivers globally were polled in order to gather valuable insights for this research. This study examines the value proposition that partners derive through their collaborations with Microsoft, leveraging our expertise in AI. The study’s primary discoveries are as follows:

  •  For every dollar of Microsoft income, partners generating provider solutions produce $8.45, while those developing software yield a significantly higher return of $10.93.
  • The artificial intelligence industry is poised for significant growth, with estimates suggesting that GenAI will experience a staggering 86% expansion between 2022 and 2027 – an astonishing 13 times the overall rate of growth in the broader IT sector.
  • Partners working closely with Microsoft typically experience a substantial increase in revenue generated from their own services, and AI’s impact is amplifying this trend even further. According to IDC’s research, a staggering 62% of revenue generated by complete companions originates from healthcare providers.
  • As the demand for artificial intelligence (AI) solutions continues to soar among customers, software program growth companions are capitalizing on this trend by seamlessly integrating Microsoft’s AI capabilities into their own applications, thereby creating novel AI-powered offerings that cater to a wide range of industries.
  • The Microsoft AI Cloud Companion Program’s key benefits comprise a diverse range of coveted features, prioritizing enhanced AI-driven interactions between companions and users.
