Since two days in the past, when copying folders on my Mac, I get an error message saying the operation just isn’t doable due to a 8062 error.
Some folders copy effective. Some begin after which cease with the 8062 error message.
The problem may have coincided with updating my macOS to the most recent model 15.3.2.
Having tried copying completely different folders I believe the difficulty is simply with folders inside my Desktop and Paperwork folders – which in tern are synched with iCloud Drive Desktop and Paperwork.
I’ve loads of area on my Mac, so I’m not optimising my storage. All my paperwork reside on my Mac and on iCloud. My iCloud Drive is synched, but when I attempt to copy a folder the iCloud time icon shows suggesting it’s downloading recordsdata earlier than they’re copied – and copying takes significantly longer than it ought to.
This means a problem with my working system not recognising that recordsdata are already on my Mac, and points with file permissions, corrupt recordsdata, or points with .DS_Store recordsdata?
The one method I can get some folders to repeat is to make use of Terminal to first delete all of the .DS_Store recordsdata from the folder first. (however these recordsdata robotically regenerate so this is not a long run repair)
What is going on on? How do I resolve file permissions, corrupt recordsdata, or points with .DS_Store recordsdata?
