The Huawei Watch GT 5 is poised to make its official debut on September 19, but a recent leak has already provided a glimpse into the device’s design, along with key specifications and details.
Officially rendered designs showcase familiar aesthetics for both 41mm and 46mm variants. Each variant looks remarkably alike, reportedly sharing an identical structure as well. With its robust metallic bezel, durable stainless-steel construction, and impressive 5ATM water resistance, this timepiece is built to withstand the rigors of everyday wear. The rotating crown and the programmable button that follow it are designed to stay.
There isn’t much change to the hardware either. The 41mm option remains paired with a 1.32-inch OLED display, while the 46mm variant features a 1.43-inch screen. Huawei also promises a consistent battery life of around 7 to 14 days, revealing no notable advancements in this regard either.
The most notable improvement in this year’s Watch GT 5 lineup is Huawei’s enhanced focus on health and wellness monitoring capabilities. Launched in late August, the new product debuted with an impressive array of innovative features and enhanced monitoring capabilities.
What’s still to come is news on pricing and availability – stay tuned next week for the Huawei Watch GT 5 launch occasion!
