Huawei unveiled its foldable smartphone globally last week, accompanied by the global release of the Freebuds Pro 4 true wireless stereo earphones, just a month after their initial introduction. Before we dive into our upcoming reviews, let’s take a closer look at what’s new in Huawei’s latest flagship audio wearables.
The sleek design of our Freebuds Pro 4 is now available in a stylish black hue, complemented by subtle golden accents that add a touch of sophistication to the case, hinge, and earbuds themselves. The Huawei Sound brand is also featured prominently here, having previously been known as Histen and not present in the predecessor model.
Although drawing comparisons to earlier technology, the Professional 4 maintains a consistent case size and earbud dimensions, as well as battery life, but exhibits a notable increase in weight due to its upgraded features.
Huawei has achieved significant improvements in both sound quality and connectivity, with noticeable enhancements evident from the very start of usage. According to official press releases, the buds are designed to deliver up to 14Hz of deep, pounding bass and crystal-clear treble at frequencies as high as 48kHz.
We’ll need time to determine whether these adjustments yield tangible results in real-world usage.
Huawei sets the price of its FreeBuds Pro 2 earphones at €200. The product boasts exceptional noise-cancellation capabilities, innovative gestures, and enhanced tuning, prompting us to thoroughly test each feature to ensure optimal performance.
