In 2019, I deliberately opted against being just another cog in the machine; instead, I sought to forge my own path and create meaningful impact as a proactive individual. At this point, I had spent four years toiling away in various companies, yet despite my steady paycheck, I couldn’t shake the feeling that I hadn’t accomplished anything truly meaningful.

Having previously viewed several films offering guidance on professional development and perused various books on finance, I realized that persisting along this path would not yield significant progress.

As Shopify entrepreneurs flourished, their success stories dominated online spaces, showcasing remarkable earning potential that rendered traditional 9-to-5 jobs laughable in comparison. Once believed to be an anomaly, they unexpectedly developed a catchphrase that raised questions about their life’s purpose.

For someone who, despite holding a university diploma, would need to work at least ten years to accumulate enough for a down payment on a home, those words held immense significance to me. What inspired these ordinary people to take a different path, leaving me to ponder whether I too could seize the reins of entrepreneurship and create my own success story. I felt entirely capable of achieving identical success to theirs.
