To get the iOS Information app’s data within the macOS Finder’s iPhone Information tab, sync your iPhone with your Mac using iCloud or iTunes.

One solution I’ve found is to download Google Chrome on my iPhone, then move the entire “On My Phone” folder into the new Chrome folder by manually shifting it, and finally access these files via the “Info” tab in Finder once my iPhone is connected to my MacBook.

It’s absurdly straightforward that this appears to be the most uncomplicated approach to achieve that outcome.

I was unable to copy files directly from this folder onto an external hard drive; instead, I had to transfer them to my laptop and then to the external drive in order to access them. Without native access, you’re forced to transfer iPhone files to a third-party folder within Files, before copying them to an external drive via Mac’s Finder, instead of natively transferring and saving them directly. Finally, transfer these files to an external hard drive.

Clearly, navigating through a large file folder on an iPhone becomes arduous?

While seeking an alternative solution, I stumbled upon this approach and thought it was worth sharing with others who may be facing similar challenges.

It is imperative for Apple to rectify the issue of lacking native file access by resolving this in future updates; I strongly recommend that users encountering this problem submit feedback to express their disappointment.
