As the Head of UAS Coaching at Coptrz Ltd., you will lead our coaching division, guiding a team of three trainers to deliver exceptional standards of drone coaching across the UK. You are accountable for developing, updating, and maintaining a comprehensive UAV training program that meets CAA regulations and covers all theoretical and practical aspects of drone operation. As part of this role, you will regularly travel to client locations, often staying overnight, providing opportunities to build personal connections with customers and demonstrate your expertise firsthand? - Ensure comprehensive development, replacement, and preservation of coaching supplies and curricula for drone operations, ensuring seamless alignment with the Civil Aviation Authority’s (CAA) regulations and requirements.
- Regularly conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the impact of coaching initiatives and identify areas for improvement, then incorporate lessons learned into future program development.
- Evaluate and oversee the efficacy of all Coptrz Course Instructors and Flight Examiners in accordance with the stipulations set forth within the Coptrz Exposition.
- Ensure absolute conformity with internal audit standards, maintaining current operational permits that are renewed annually.
- Ensure comprehensive pilot training refreshers, maintain mandatory flight hour records, and guarantee the optimal condition of all demonstration drones.
- Preserve a comprehensive library of coaching materials, including digital guides, that focus on proper usage and proficiency in operating specialized equipment and showcasing ability-building methodologies for our core product range, accompanied by certified assessment tests.
- Carefully investigate all reported safety occurrences within the COPTRZ A2 Certificate of Compliance (CoC), Global Vertical and Cross-Cultural (GVC) programs, and Sensible Flight Assessments to ensure conformity with COPTRZ’s comprehensive security guidelines.
- A comprehensive risk management framework shall be implemented across Coptrz operations to ensure the secure handling of sensitive information and mitigate potential threats. The framework will comprise four key stages: assess, plan, execute, and review.
Assess: A thorough risk assessment shall be conducted regularly to identify potential security risks and prioritize mitigation strategies.
- Retention of the Renewable Aviation Engineer certification through successful completion of the required refresher course.
- Coptrz Secure Administration System?
- With at least five years of experience in a customer-facing administrative role within the drone industry.
- Established proficiency in advanced security administration methodologies.
- GVC holder
- Full driving license.
- In-depth knowledge of Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) operations for both fixed-wing and multi-rotor unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
- OSC creation
Pay: Up to £70,000 per annum
