TL;DR

  • Google has launched a new filtering feature for search results within Gmail on Android devices.
  • The filter has finally stayed.
  • Customers can sort their search results by “Most Recent” or “Most Relevant.”

Google simplifies searching for desired messages within its Android app by providing a more streamlined experience. You can now refine your search results with a newly added filter.

A few weeks ago, we learned that Google was working on a brand-new search filter for the Android version of Gmail. The new filter allows users to organize their search results in either “Latest” or “Most Relevant” order, with select customers already having access to this feature.

The kind order stays in Gmail for Android for me? Now you can easily search for outcomes by latest or most relevant results.

As previously demonstrated through our screen captures, the filter is positioned just beneath the search bar. Selecting the filter option on your screen will prompt two options to appear at the bottom of the display. You’ll be able to tailor your search results exactly as you like.

We also observed playing cards displayed prominently at the top of the screen, a phenomenon typically associated with buy order notifications. Despite this, it appears that the playing cards did not emerge as anticipated with the new filter in place? Their potential release remains uncertain, leaving the possibility of both rolling out at a later time or being shelved altogether.

Recently, we introduced a new feature in Gmail on Android that helps users summarize long emails with 12 sentences or more, making it easier for them to quickly grasp the main points. Let’s wait and see whether Google chooses to release this feature publicly.
