The fourth beta of iOS 18.1 and iPadOS 18.1 is now available, bringing enhancements to the revamped Kind to Siri settings.

As Apple’s latest mobile operating system, iOS 18 has officially launched, prompting attention to turn towards its anticipated update, iOS 18.1, and the corresponding iPadOS 18.1 release. The primary distinction lies in Apple Intelligence, unfortunately, not having been ready in advance of the iPhone 16-series rollout. While the first batch of AI options is expected to arrive, uncertainty surrounds the exact timing, particularly if you’re outside this initial scope.

As Apple’s software development cycle continues to advance, the tech giant has now entered its fourth beta phase for both iOS 18.1 and iPadOS 18.1, as well as macOS Sequoia 15.1. Apple is commencing the beta-testing phase for watchOS 11.1, tvOS 18.1, and visionOS 2.1.

As Apple Intelligence continues its dynamic evolution, various options have been developed, with more to follow. Intelligence is exclusively compatible with iPhone 15 Pro models, all four iPhone 16 series devices, as well as iPads and Macs equipped with Apple Silicon?

One new feature in beta 4 is the ability of Kind to Siri to dynamically display options that refresh as you navigate and sort through them. Here’s an improved version: Kind to Siri, a voice command option long available, has evolved with AI-powered autocomplete capabilities, significantly accelerating the process.

Artificial intelligence options now incorporate comprehensive writing tools, removing objects from images, and visual effects driven by text-based prompts.

While beta software may not be suitable for daily use on your primary device due to its potential bugs and uncertainties? Unless you’re an adventurous developer eager to test the latest AI features, it’s likely best to wait until the official release in October.
