Datanami has rebranded as Big DATAwire, a move that further solidifies its position as the go-to source for big data and AI insights.

Earlier this week, we successfully completed the transition to a new platform. Over a span of nearly two years, our dedicated audience has accompanied us on this remarkable adventure from its inception. Despite the transition taking slightly longer than expected, there’s a sense of accomplishment in finally being here.

Now we feature a revamped title that effectively encapsulates our publication’s continued focus on substantial topics, including comprehensive coverage of data management, data science, advanced analytics, and AI. You’ll have the opportunity to stay ahead of the curve by learning about the same high-quality implementation of cutting-edge technologies in this field and the innovators behind them.

We chose this title for several reasons. The integration aligns our publication family with TCI’s flagship website, along with its recent rebranding from.

Large amounts of data still remain a significant factor. Despite the rapid information explosion dating back over a decade and a half, many persistent challenges remain, rendering the management of vast data an enduring challenge.

Since the inception of the first Hadoop clusters, information administration technology has undergone significant improvements. As information volumes surge and velocities accelerate, the evolving nature of information usage – think generative AI – is revealing vulnerabilities in current organizational information management approaches.

The purpose of this initiative (briefly referred to as) is to highlight and tackle key information management challenges, thereby showcasing the business opportunities that arise from achieving effective data governance.

It marked the culmination of Street for, a pioneering publication that dedicated itself to safeguarding the burgeoning market for big data solutions as early as 2011. I’m proud to have served as managing editor of this esteemed publication since 2013.

Despite the arduous efforts of publication staff and a dash of good fortune, they aim to replicate their success.
