The company has acquired 40 Aero2 drones from Areion, with options to purchase an additional 100 aircraft. This major deal marks the largest-ever buy of civilian drones, according to Dufour and Spright’s previous announcement in 2023. Areion will initiate a series of strategic initiatives with Dufour Aerospace to optimize the capabilities of their tilt-wing Aero2 drone, focusing on the transportation and logistics of critical goods.
