As their business grows, solo entrepreneurs inevitably start pondering expansion strategies. Could hiring a freelance accountant or bookkeeper, possibly as an ongoing arrangement, alleviate some of the pressure? As the situation unfolded, it became apparent that you were struggling to articulate the intricacies of internalized processes and procedures to someone outside your own mind.

Following my acquisition of a digital assistant several months ago, I encountered this issue. Within a short timeframe between signing the agreement and her start date, I aimed to establish routine working procedures (SOPs). Standard operating procedures clearly outlined the tasks she aimed to accomplish and concurrently established the imperative for undertaking them, thereby providing a relevant backdrop for my business.
