CES 2025: All the Latest from Nvidia, Sony, Toyota, Samsung, and More? The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025 kicked off with a bang, offering a sneak peek into the future of tech.

At the CES 2025 press event, several key announcements were made that have significant implications for the tech industry and consumers alike.

NVIDIA’s Founder and CEO Jensen Huang capped off the CES Press Day with a string of AI-infused announcements and key takeaways.

A privately developed artificial intelligence-powered computer system designed to seamlessly integrate with the company’s Grace Blackwell Superchip, rendering it more accessible and user-friendly through a streamlined interface. While we’re not discussing mainstream accessibility, it’s worth noting that unspecified Digits devices are set to debut in May for a steep price tag of $3,000, with more details to follow later this year.

Nvidia has announced its efforts to tackle global styles, a type of AI model inspired by how humans form their mental models of the world, reflecting cultural and societal influences on our perceptions and beliefs. 

The corporation also unveiled the Cosmos World Foundation, initially focused on harnessing “physics-based simulations and generating artificial intelligence.”

By leveraging the capabilities of the Apple Vision Pro, individuals can train robots to execute specific checks and tasks through demonstrations.

At Sony’s press conference, the focus wasn’t on a plethora of hardware announcements, instead, they zeroed in on the entertainment side of their business. At the event, they took a significant step closer to bringing their Afeela EV, a collaborative effort with Honda, to market, as preorders simultaneously went live. 

Their showcase primarily focused on creator-driven expertise, featuring insights into projects within Sony’s walls and collaborations with other studios, such as the Horizon Zero Dawn and Helldivers film initiatives, or an in-depth look at their upcoming slate of Demon Slayer anime movies and a Ghosts of Tsushima anime series for Crunchyroll, which Sony acquired in 2021.

Toyota’s CEO, Akio Toyoda, publicly showcased the company’s robotic arms’ newfound ability to fold T-shirts in a Japanese-inspired pattern, demonstrating their enhanced dexterity. 

Toyota’s chairman introduced a surprise announcement, revealing no further details about his statement, but instead showcased a rendering of a rocket designed by Interstellar Technologies, a pioneering Japanese spaceflight company.

Samsung is introducing a cutting-edge feature on its 2025 smart TVs, leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to identify the food displayed on-screen and automatically generate a recipe for you. The Samsung Meals app allows users to track the progress of their grocery and takeout delivery orders in addition to providing recipe recommendations.
