Currently, Jonathan Davidson has decided to transition out of his current role at Cisco Networking and will serve as a trusted advisor to me moving forward. We’re uniting our Networking, Safety, and Collaboration teams under a single leadership, with Jeetu Patel at the helm as Executive Vice President and Chief Product Officer of Cisco. As we near completion of integrating Splunk into Cisco, our next step will be to incorporate the entire Splunk product portfolio into this newly formed group at a later date. The entire product range will be consolidated under a single umbrella.
This new team will accelerate our product innovation by fostering a cohesive approach to showcasing our entire portfolio in a more integrated way than ever before. This initiative will empower us to provide a more cohesive experience for our customers and partners, while offering tailored solutions that help them achieve their goals and fuel business growth.
Since joining Cisco four years ago, Jeetu has exemplified leadership by example, combining his creative vision with an unwavering focus on innovation and rapid execution. Together with his team, he has diligently worked to reimagine and propel Cisco’s Safety and Collaboration portfolios towards success and growth.
Under Jeetu’s leadership, safety initiatives have flourished, culminating in the successful launch of the Cisco Safety Cloud, a robust platform that embodies our commitment to safety.
Twelve months ago, we unveiled Cisco Hypershield, a groundbreaking security innovation that marks a significant milestone in our 40-year history, fundamentally rethinking safety in the era of artificial intelligence. Following Jeetu’s decision to revive the collaboration platform, we’ve witnessed a remarkable surge in bookings growth across our business units, largely driven by the adoption of AI-powered solutions and our forward-thinking approach, which seamlessly integrates with existing conference tools. As he drives forward innovative applications of generative AI within Cisco’s safety and collaboration frameworks, he brings distinctive capabilities to Webex while shaping the vision for a unified AI Assistant that spans the entire Cisco ecosystem. Jeetu’s ardent passion, profound understanding, and uncompromising dedication to design and people expertise make him an exemplary leader for this newly formed team.
For over two decades, Jonathan has played a crucial role in Cisco’s achievements, contributing significantly to its growth and prosperity since joining the company 22 years ago. With unwavering conviction in the transformative power of connectivity, he has consistently showcased a deep commitment to the well-being of his teams, harnessing Cisco’s cutting-edge know-how and global reach to foster digital equity worldwide through his unrelenting passion.
