AWS has been recognized as a leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Distributed Hybrid Infrastructure.

Gartner has released its second Magic Quadrant for Distributed Hybrid Infrastructure (DHI), where it again ranks us as a leader in this space. AWS owns three subsidiaries in the DHI portfolio: Data Intelligence, Hydrological Instrumentation, and Meteorological Instruments. Within the accompanying , AWS is ranked primary in 4 out of six use circumstances evaluated by Gartner—together with hybrid infrastructure administration, edge computing, assured workloads, and synthetic intelligence & machine studying (AI/ML)—and among the many prime two within the use case of container administration.

Gartner evaluates 10 DHI suppliers primarily based on two key criteria: their Potential to Execute, which gauges a vendor’s ability to deliver services or products successfully; and Completeness of Vision, assessing a vendor’s market understanding and strategy for future growth.

The following is a graphical representation of the 2024 Gartner Magic Quadrant for DHI.

Gartner acknowledged AWS strengths as:

  • AWS DHI offers an enchantment to AWS public cloud customers who seek to extend their infrastructure seamlessly to their data center and edge locations, while also facilitating a smooth migration from their existing private cloud infrastructure.
  • AWS Outposts’ fully managed infrastructure supply streamlines operations, enabling a seamless, vendor-agnostic approach to infrastructure management, including integration with select on-premises technologies.
  • Gartner survey respondents express overwhelming satisfaction with Amazon Web Services’ (AWS) global support and customer service team.

At the forefront of cloud innovation, we showcase our capabilities in delivering cutting-edge solutions for mission-critical workloads that demand exceptional performance, seamless data processing, and unparalleled control over information residency – all while ensuring effortless migration and integration with on-premises systems. At Amazon Web Services (AWS), we bring the same trusted and consistent AWS infrastructure, services, APIs, and tools to wherever your business needs them, providing a seamless cloud experience.

Whether your workloads thrive or not, within metropolitan areas where AWS Native Zones operate seamlessly, on-premises with AWS Outposts, within telecommunications networks utilizing their infrastructure, or at the edge with AWS Snow Family, you can standardize on a unified cloud operating model across all your applications. Streamlining developer workflow can be achieved through standardization on a typical set of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, fostering greater efficiency and productivity. This innovative solution significantly minimizes the need for resources, operational risk, and maintenance outages associated with managing IT infrastructure.

As exemplars of accelerated innovation, we’ve integrated support for machine learning workloads and broadened the scope of applications. We’ve successfully established Outposts in new countries and expanded the list of AWS-supported companies on Outposts, mirroring our strategies with and to further boost software accessibility and productivity.

We’ve further refined the disconnection tolerance for container-based workloads on Outposts, enabling customers to seamlessly run both the Kubernetes control plane and nodes locally, while also enhancing its capabilities for complex multi-rack Outposts deployments.

Study extra opportunities are available for further learning.
