Apple has launched three new global radio stations on Apple Music: Apple Música Uno, Apple Music Membership, and Apple Music Chill. Fans worldwide can now tune in to these stations, along with existing options Apple Music 1, Apple Music Hits, and Apple Music Nation, and listen to live-hosted radio broadcasts for free, without a subscription, on the platform.
“Apple Music Radio serves as the vital core of our platform, harmoniously combining exceptional human talent, expert curation, and innovative technology to shape and influence cultural heritage,” said Oliver Schusser, Apple’s VP of Music, Sports, and Beats. To deliver an unparalleled listening experience, our team invests considerable time and effort in crafting unique, expertly curated radio stations featuring exceptional music commentary from renowned hosts.
Since its 2015 launch, Apple Music Radio has established itself as a premier destination for innovative programming curated by renowned music experts and exclusive content that music enthusiasts can’t find elsewhere – featuring interviews with the world’s top artists across genres, as well as shows hosted and curated by those very same artists.
Apple Music Radio’s significance lies not only in its ability to enhance well-being and happiness but also in providing a constant musical companion, always accessible and always on. As Zane Lowe, the world-renowned creative director and lead host of Apple Music 1, aptly observed: “Music is just a tap away from you.” In a world where artificial intelligence and algorithms reign supreme, Apple Music Radio remains a beacon of human touch. “It’s genuinely exciting to bring this shared experience to audiences globally, as we expand our reach with the launch of three new stations.”
Latin music’s kaleidoscope of styles resonates globally. Our primary focus is consistently centered on the ever-evolving world of music, delving into both current trends and emerging genres, including but not limited to Música Mexicana, reggaetón, tropical, Latin pop, and more. Becky G, a renowned Latin celebrity, serves as the official launch host for this esteemed station, while Rauw Alejandro and Grupo Frontera bring their own unique flair to specific premieres. Each morning, listeners are warmly greeted by Evelyn Sicairos and Lechero, two dynamic radio hosts who share an infectious passion for music and bridging cultural divides, setting the stage for the station’s energy and cohesion. Twice a week, each host curates their own flagship playlist, broadcasting it five days a week, as Sicairos presents La Oficial Radio, while Lechero takes the reins for ¡Dale Play! Radio. Programming will incorporate Puro Pop Radio’s iconic playlist, while weekends will draw inspiration from Cumbia Pa’ La Fiesta, Canciones Caras, and Por Siempre Hits.
On Apple Music Uno, the core playlist will feature the latest release from Latin superstar, Bad Bunny, titled “El Club.” This curated selection will also include artist-led track-by-track explorations of their personal discographies, alongside revelations about the songs that have recently resonated with them. Expert on-air talent converses fluently in both Spanish and English.
Becky G expressed her deep gratitude for hosting her own Apple Music radio show, serving as the voice of Apple Music’s Spanish platform, Música Uno, where she carefully selects her favorite songs and shares personal anecdotes with her audience. As I evolved as an artist, I found myself drawn to music platforms that resonated with me, my admiration for pioneers in the industry forever etched in my mind. Years later, I’m thrilled to realize that I’ve been gifted with a unique opportunity to give back and potentially inspire others in similar ways. “I invite you to join us for an entertaining experience, where we’ll share laughter, delight in great music, introduce you to fresh tunes, and leave you inspired.”
Is House a haven for anyone who adores dance and digital music, alongside its storied membership traditions? It’s genuinely even bolder than that. Regardless of whether it’s a gathering in Berlin, Brooklyn, London, or Tokyo, every event or membership meeting ultimately draws to a close. It won’t expire on Apple Music Membership, where mixes from the world’s most influential and visionary DJs and dance floors are carefully curated into a dynamic set that pulses with energy 24/7 throughout the year. Tim Sweeney and NAINA serve as expert guides, providing rich context for each combination, spanning the entire gamut of sounds, from the glamour of the pageant circuit to the uncharted depths of the underground – all of which are also available at any time as curated DJ Mixes on Apple Music.
To launch this ongoing celebration, Sweeney will spin the iconic hit “Massive Enjoyment” by legendary electronic dance music pioneers Inner City. New and unique mixes from esteemed artists Honey Dijon, Jamie xx, FKA twigs, and Nia Archives have been confirmed, in addition to exclusive units from Apple Music curators Circoloco, Tomorrowland, The Warehouse Mission, material, Hï Ibiza, Stone Island Sound, and many more.
Here: “Presented as a series of recordings, my work is rooted in ‘The Ground,’ a 10-day residency I curated in London, May 2024,” said Jamie xx. I extended an invitation to my entire network of colleagues and partners to join me in a game session. I’m thrilled to see several favorite DJs and artists featured in these playlists, and I’m deeply appreciative of their contributions. Having access to all these curated units in one convenient location on Apple Music is truly a wonderful perk.
