Apple unveils innovative educational resources for educators and amplifies global education grant programme.
To commemorate World Teachers’ Day, Apple has introduced a suite of innovative, free educational resources designed to inspire creativity in the classroom, as well as special collections and curated content across Apple’s suite of services, honoring the essential contributions of dedicated educators. Furthermore, the corporation significantly expanded its pioneering educational grant programme to 100 additional schools and communities, delivering complimentary, grant-backed STEAM initiatives globally, spanning six continents and benefitting both students and educators alike.
For the past four years, Apple has consistently demonstrated its commitment to education by leading the way in innovative instruction. Through its educational initiatives, the corporation has disseminated its innovative expertise and high-quality learning resources to millions of students and educators, empowering them with the tools to craft future-ready worlds, facilitate collaborative methodologies, and chart the courses of tomorrow. To illustrate the success of its endeavors, Apple will soon release its inaugural report, providing a comprehensive overview of the company’s ongoing initiatives to empower educators and learners globally.

Throughout its storied history in education, Apple has consistently prioritized professional learning and educator resources as crucial elements of its approach, recognizing that effective technology utilization can empower all learners to reach their full potential.
Today, Apple introduces a fresh set of Everybody Can Create resources designed specifically for academic settings. Innovative Artistic Actions offer a range of swift, engaging, and entertaining educational concepts designed to equip educators with the tools to infuse creativity and originality into their teaching plans. Developing Creative Expression: Engaging Young Minds (Ages 4-8) and Nurturing Artistic Talent: Empowering College Students (Ages 8+), empowering educators to seamlessly integrate artistic experiences into their curriculum without compromising on their already demanding workload. Every exercise effectively hones crucial skills, allowing college students to work efficiently with templates and generate shareable links promptly.
New Artistic Actions embrace:
The latest artistic innovations are now accessible on a prestigious online learning platform boasting over one million members, where educators can find creative stimulation, exchange resources, and connect with like-minded professionals. Apple’s Schooling Neighborhood expands online collaboration to 16 new countries and regions, empowering global educators with increased participation opportunities.1
Additionally, Apple is expanding its Apple Teacher Learning Center, a complimentary professional development program designed to equip educators with the skills they need to effectively integrate Apple products into their curriculum. Apple’s Studying Coach is now accessible globally, available in eight languages across 15 countries and regions, with the flexibility to join and participate at any moment.2 To date, over 4,000 licensed Apple Teaching Coaches have supported nearly 100,000 educators, ultimately benefiting more than 2.4 million students.
Apple collaborates with global faculties and nonprofit organisations to provide grants and immersive programmes, bridging gaps in access to technology and fostering educational and professional opportunities. To date, the corporation has invested hundreds of thousands of dollars in technology, tools, and resources to support over 200 education and community partners. In the past year, Apple has significantly expanded its educational reach by partnering with nearly 40 new institutions across Canada, Mexico, New Zealand, the UK, and the United States.
Under the Apple Neighborhood Schooling Initiative, the company provides {hardware}, scholarships, financial support, educational resources, and access to Apple experts to schools and organizations in underserved communities. Apple partners with diverse community groups to tailor and refine educational programming that aligns with specific goals, transforming both in-school and out-of-school experiences for students.
Apple intensifies its developer ecosystem by embracing programs that provide coding education and expertise training to builders and entrepreneurs globally, including free resources such as Everybody Can Code, Develop in Swift Tutorials, Everybody Can Create, Problem for Change, and Today at Apple sessions at all Apple Store locations.
According to the recently released Schooling Impact Report, over the past five years, more than 10,000 educators have had access to professional learning opportunities courtesy of Apple’s grants. Within a similar timeframe, over 500,000 college students from nearly 2,000 institutions worldwide have participated in the company’s grant initiatives. Apple currently supports more than 200 educational institutions and non-profit organizations, a number that is consistently growing.
CodeDoor, a newer partner of Apple’s, provides coding and workforce preparedness training for migrants across Germany. Apple supports its Creators program by leveraging Everybody Can Code resources and Swift Playgrounds to equip individuals with the tools to conceptualize, develop, and pitch app ideas that respond to community-wide challenges. Through an eight-month hybrid programme, participants acquire valuable expertise, encompassing Swift coding and presentation skills.
Karan Dehghani, CodeDoor’s founder, explained that the platform was born from the understanding that young people are naturally curious and employ a methodical approach to learning as a means of discovery, yet require the right tools to feel empowered.
“Through our Creators program, in collaboration with Apple, we empower young individuals from migrant backgrounds to tackle real-world challenges through app development, thereby arming Germany’s next generation with the skills needed to build stronger communities and brighter futures.”
Apple may further solidify its partnerships with existing collaborators. Since 2020, the corporation has partnered with the New York Public Library to expand access to knowledge through in-person and online training programs catering to learners of all ages and skill levels, prioritizing adult literacy by empowering individuals to build confidence in their computer skills and navigate today’s digitally driven landscape confidently.

One of many ways in which we may help form and guarantee the way forward for libraries is to create areas which might be designed for collaborative, interactive studying,” stated Brandy McNeil, Ph.D., the New York Public Library’s deputy director of Department Packages & Companies. “With access to Apple’s exclusive instruments and resources, we’ve enhanced our programming capabilities and expanded our reach to better serve our community, empowering a wider audience to leverage technology for learning and development.”
To commemorate World Teachers’ Day, Apple is recognizing educators worldwide through curated selections and special features across its platforms.
Within the App Store, a platform showcases classroom and lesson-planning essentials that educators can utilize to facilitate their work effectively. On Apple Music, customers can listen to highlights from the Children and Family categories; on Apple Books, readers can discover inspiring stories about educators; and in Podcasts, listeners can find episodes featuring conversations by and for educators, along with narratives about education. Furthermore, the Apple TV app highlights the pivotal role that academics play in shaping the experiences and achievements of students.
