Amazon Q Apps, now usually obtainable, permits customers to construct their very own generative AI apps

Following our successful launch in April 2024, we built upon that momentum by. Amazon provides customers with the capability to develop generative synthetic intelligence (AI)-powered applications rooted in their own data through its Amazon Q Enterprise platform. Users can create apps using plain language, ensuring secure publishing to a shared library where everyone can access and utilize these applications.

As we conclude our preview process and gather input, today we’re officially releasing Amazon Quick App capabilities.

Additionally, we are introducing new capabilities not previously available during the preview phase, such as an API for Amazon Q Apps and the ability to specify data sources at the individual card level.

Let’s explore how to get started with Amazon Q&A apps first, before diving into the brand-new options in a few moments.

Amazon’s Q Apps allows customers to create a mobile application directly from their conversations with Amazon Q Enterprise. Amazon’s Quick Apps technology leverages contextual understanding of conversations to craft a customized mobile application that precisely meets specific user demands. Let’s see it in motion!

As I started crafting this post, I contemplated leveraging Amazon Q Enterprise to create a comprehensive product overview of Amazon Q Apps. Despite all challenges, Amazon QuickSight Enterprise is designed to enhance workforce productivity. I successfully uploaded the product messaging documentation to our shared repository, effectively creating a centralized knowledge hub using the designated platform.

Let’s start anew; can we take a fresh approach to our conversation?

As we start this conversation, I realize the value of creating a concise product overview, which could also benefit our team members who need to quickly grasp the details. I choose to develop a reusable and shareable application.

Amazon Q Enterprise typically prompts users to create an Amazon Q App, displaying the prompt for confirmation and allowing edits if desired.

Design a mobile application that leverages AI-powered natural language processing (NLP) capabilities to take in a concise written description of a service or product, then generate a structured outline and list of essential features based on known information about the product/service provided by Q.

I decide to proceed with the creation of the app. The innovative Product Overview Generator app seamlessly combines intuitive user interaction with visually striking displays, featuring four meticulously designed cards: two dedicated input cards that thoughtfully solicit user feedback, and two outcome cards that masterfully present the generated product overview along with its pivotal features.

I am able to adjust the layout of the app by adjusting the size of the virtual playing cards and repositioning them as needed.

The prompts for the person textual content output playing cards are regularly generated, allowing me to review and revise them. Upon selecting the edit icon on the card, I access the aspect panel and view its contents immediately.

In the aspect panel, users have the flexibility to select the content source for generating textual output cards, opting between leveraging massive language model data or verifying information from recognized sources. For authorized sources, you may select multiple information sources that have been preconfigured for use with the Amazon QuickSight Enterprise tool. I selected the information supply I had previously configured to create this application.

Without modifying the base prompt or the persona’s text output cards, I discovered that generating a useful app directly from the dialogue was entirely possible.

You can now publish this app to the group’s app library by clicking on. Before publishing your app, let’s explore another approach to developing successful Amazon Alexa skills.

Using Amazon Quicksilver (Q) instead of initiating dialogue in Amazon Q&A Enterprise, I can craft my own descriptions to define the application I aim to develop. You can also explore prompts from a variety of preconfigured templates.

Can I easily adjust settings to match my goals and choose options to build the application?

When proud of each layout and prompt, and ready to share the app, you can publish it to a centralized app library, granting access to all users of the Amazon QuickSight enterprise environment.

Amazon Q Apps leverages the robust security and compliance framework inherited from Amazon Q Enterprise, ensuring the reliable management of information sources, user permissions, and regulatory safeguards are consistently upheld throughout the application ecosystem. When users access the app, they exclusively view responses tailored to the data they have access to within the underlying information sources.

To generate high-quality product overviews for my customers. The application presents a preview, allowing users to select up to three applicable labels. Labels enable categorization of apps by department within a group or other relevant categories. Upon reviewing the selected labels, I opt to refine my decision by re-examining the preview popup.

The app will become instantly available within the Amazon Quick App library for others to utilize, replicate, and build upon. I selected to browse the Amazon Q Apps Library and discovered my Product Overview Generator app seamlessly.

Amazon Workdocs allows customers to boost individual or team productivity by tailoring and customising cloud-based document collaboration tools to meet unique needs. Without having to start from scratch, customers can browse existing apps, utilize them as is, or customize them and publish their own unique versions to the app library.

Let’s explore the app library and find an application that allows us to personalize it. I select the relevant label to locate applications in that category.

I notice an app that corrects grammatical errors in written documents effectively. You want to develop a fresh mobile application prototype that includes a document summary feature. What a great start! Let’s take this journey together?

Upon opening the app, you’re presented with a selection option that allows you to.

When I select an option, it creates a duplicate of the app, allowing me to easily switch between different versions or configurations.

You replace the and icons of the app by tapping the edit icon beside the app title.

What was the algorithm behind the creation of this innovative application? Here is the rewritten text in a different style:

To replicate the app, I’ll utilize the existing codebase as a starting point and enhance it by integrating a detailed outline for the desired performance features, ensuring seamless maintenance by Amazon Q Apps Creator. You’re free to refine this existing version of the application as needed.

Existing options for managing a hand include editing and deleting current cards. To modify the information on a card, simply click on the edit icon located in the top-right corner of the card.

To expand the range of possibilities, consider incorporating additional modules, such as user input, text output, file upload, or pre-configured plugins designated by your administrator. The file add card enables users to supplement their queries with an additional information source, allowing them to refine or fine-tune their solution responses. The plugin card enables seamless ticket creation in Jira for any subsequent action required on a product, streamlining workflow and facilitating collaboration.

To enhance this document with a summary card, you select… Doc Abstract
