Cisco’s third annual ThousandEyes Accomplice Connection took place, bringing together the community to share ideas, forge relationships, and engage with valued channel partners in a celebration of collaboration and mutual success. In 2022, as part of a collaborative effort, ThousandEyes joined forces with Cisco’s Partnering for Objective workforce to incorporate a substantial give-back component into our event’s agenda.
To amplify collaboration with our channel partners, we leveraged the expertise of Give to Get, a renowned social influence event provider. They spearheaded initiatives to address pressing issues, such as on-site and off-site programs focused on combating youth hunger and homelessness, while also promoting environmental sustainability and encouraging STEM education among young girls and boys. All measures were crafted with a singular focus on directly benefiting the St. In Petersburg’s historic neighborhood, the scene of the notorious Accomplice Connection event unfolded.
At the conclusion of their selection process, the ThousandEyes workforce chose an initiative addressing youth hunger, prompting us to schedule a 75-minute Partnering for Objective session incorporating a meal-packing charity event as part of our comprehensive two-day summit agenda. The GiveBack exercise supported the “Feed Our Future” program, a partner organization of Meals on Wheels for Children. Through its efforts, Feed our Future guarantees uninterrupted access to nutritious meals for children, particularly during school breaks when the National School Lunch Program’s free or reduced-cost meal options are unavailable.
During the giveback session, attendees from Cisco ThousandEyes and their channel partners collaborated to prepare 400 snack packs, ultimately contributing approximately 1,000 kilograms of food to support a good cause. Through this hands-on exercise, not only did companion collaboration flourish, but it also made a lasting impact on the lives of local children, leaving a tangible difference that extended beyond the immediate experience.
As I reflect on that extraordinary event, I am reminded by ThousandEyes World Director Tanner Bechtel, famous for his work in Accomplice Technique and Options Engineering: “I witnessed jackets being shed, sleeves rolled up, and individuals leveraging their ingenuity to uplift their organizations – transforming it into a truly awe-inspiring collaborative endeavour aimed at empowering those seeking a helping hand.” Sharing our time and talents with humility and kindness, these are the values that truly make a difference.
As the Worldwide ThousandEyes Sales Leader, it was remarkable to witness firsthand the profound appreciation our partners had for this innovative technology. Since the inception of Accomplice Connection, my team and I have always strived to find ways to give back to the communities we serve. This exercise presented an opportunity for us to make a lasting impact as a team and share our collective good deeds with our colleagues.
The remarkable achievement of Accomplice Connection underscores the power of collaborative efforts in fostering a positive public image? By incorporating a giveback component into our event, we aim to set a compelling example for others to follow, showcasing the power of corporate social responsibility through Cisco’s ThousandEyes initiative.
