This year’s packed Xbox Games Showcase has left us eager to reunite with fans at gamescom in Cologne, Germany from August 21-25 to unveil even more thrilling experiences for Xbox gamers. 

What truly elevates the gaming experience and Gamescom alike is the collective enthusiasm of the community – and with a diverse range of offerings this year, there’s bound to be something for everyone, whether you’re physically present on the Cologne show floor or joining in virtually through our live streams. This year, the Xbox store promises to be bursting with electrifying new releases, innovative one-off experiences, and breathtaking photo opportunities for games heading to Xbox, PC, and Game Pass this holiday season and beyond. We’re also sending you three days’ worth of broadcasts straight from the floor, join our fantastic community for another unforgettable FanFest experience, and that’s not all! This year, the Xbox showcase will feature over 50 gaming titles from Xbox Game Studios, Blizzard, Bethesda, and esteemed third-party partners, spread across more than 240 gaming stations, as well as exceptional photo opportunities and experiences, and specially designed theaters for unique peeks at upcoming releases.

For its first-time appearance in the Xbox space at gamescom, Blizzard Entertainment will be making its comeback with an array of offerings for both attendees and viewers. In anticipation of the October launch of the Vessel of Hatred, we are excited to unveil an exclusive public hands-on gameplay experience featuring the Spiritborn class at this year’s gamescom event, where attendees can participate in a thrilling Helliquary boss battle. At Gamescom, Blizzard celebrates the launch of World of Warcraft: Shadowlands’ Skyriding feature on August 26, offering attendees an unparalleled opportunity to immerse themselves in the thrill of soaring through Azeroth’s skies.  

The Xbox showcase can feature playable titles from our esteemed third-party partners, including Ubisoft’s offerings, as well as demos from Saber Interactive and GSC Game World’s latest releases, with Rebel’s also making a return appearance.

In our Indie Selects space, dedicated to exciting emerging titles from independent developers, we’ll showcase a curated selection of games from esteemed studios like Most Leisure’s Noodlecake and 11 bit Studios, among others.
