Apple has rolled out public beta 2 for its latest operating systems, including macOS Sequoia, watchOS 11, and tvOS 18.

It’s public beta 2 day. Apple has released the second public beta versions of macOS Sequoia, watchOS 11, and tvOS 18, making these early iterations available to a broader audience. Right here’s what’s new.

Updating to the community-driven beta on your device?

If you’re unsure about installing macOS Sequoia, watchOS 11, or tvOS 18, and this is your first time downloading a public beta, you’ll need to formally enroll with Apple’s testing program first. This may be completed in a few brief steps.

Since you’ve previously signed up for the public beta, installing Beta 2 will be a quicker and more streamlined process. Visit the “Software Replacement” menu on your device to access public beta 2.

  • On a Mac, the Software Update feature can be found within the System Preferences app.
  • To sync data on your Apple Watch, navigate to the iPhone’s Watch app directly.
  • To find the feature on your Apple TV, navigate to the Settings app and select the System tab from the list of options available.

In public beta 2, we’ve made significant strides in refining our platform’s features and performance. The most notable enhancements include the introduction of real-time analytics, allowing you to track key metrics as users interact with your content. Additionally, we’ve improved search functionality by incorporating AI-driven suggestions, making it easier for users to discover relevant information. Furthermore, our team has worked tirelessly to optimize server-side rendering, ensuring a seamless user experience across various devices and browsers. Finally, we’ve also rolled out enhanced accessibility features, ensuring that our platform is more inclusive for everyone.

As We Speak’s public beta now rolls out identical updates and modifications to those unveiled in Developer Beta 4 just yesterday.

WatchOS and tvOS have received incremental updates, while a notable improvement is found in the latest macOS Sequoia beta release, specifically.

The iPhone Mirroring app initially provided a single measurement primarily intended for previewing your mirrored iPhone display. Presently, customers have a choice of three distinct size options.

  • Smaller
  • Bigger

While you won’t have the ability to freely resize iPhone mirroring to any measurement you desire, you do have access to three options that provide slightly more flexibility than before.

To adjust the size of iPhone mirroring, navigate to the View menu located in the Menu Bar while the app remains active. You will see all three size options available there.

If you come across any additional updates or modifications to macOS Sequoia, watchOS 11, or tvOS 18, kindly share this information with us through your feedback.

Public beta launch schedule

Expect public beta releases to coincide with their accompanying developer betas within a brief time frame. Typically, the release lag persists, especially when Apple uncovers a significant bug in the developer beta that requires prompt rectification.

Despite this, it is common for the public beta to trail the developer beta by just a few days, thereby providing confirmation that significant issues would likely have surfaced in the earlier iteration first.

As part of our ongoing testing process, we are currently operating the public beta to gather feedback and refine the overall user experience. How has efficiency been? Tell us within the feedback.
