Since 2021, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have played a crucial role in monitoring volcanic eruptions on Iceland’s Reykjanes Peninsula. Following the initial eruption in November 2023, emergency services utilized a DJI Dock in Grindavik as a vital tool for remote monitoring and assessing the situation from a safe distance.
