The Redmi K70 Excessive Edition has officially landed, packing a punch with its Dimensity 9300+ processor, along with the addition of the D1 chip for enhanced performance. The Lamborghini edition takes luxury to the next level, boasting top-tier specs and sleek design.

This is the latest flagship from Xiaomi’s recent major event. As the curtain rises on a new chapter in late 2023, it’s time to occupy a prominent position within a sequence that’s poised to recommence.

The device is powered by a performance-oriented processor, featuring a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chip, accompanied by 12GB, 16GB, or 24GB of LPDDR5 RAM to ensure seamless multitasking capabilities. The processor’s Cortex-X4 core can rev up to an impressive 3.4GHz, showcasing exceptional efficiency.

The Dimensity 9300+, paired with a dedicated D1 graphics processing unit (GPU), for enhanced visuals and gaming capabilities. This 12nm show chip enables 3x interpolation, equivalent to “1.5K resolution” for processing 1080p signals and driving high-refresh-rate 144Hz content. The newly designed chip reportedly slashes energy consumption during gaming by a significant 15% reduction.

There’s a distinct 3D cooling chamber that can reduce temperature by as much as 3 degrees Celsius.

The Redmi K70 Extreme Edition boasts a sturdy steel frame, marking a departure from previous designs. Its rear and front are shielded by Xiaomi’s innovative Longjing glass technology. The K70’s excessive version can also be IP68-rated.

The cellphone features a 6.67-inch OLED display boasting a 2712x1220px resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and impressive nominal brightness of 1,600 nits, with the ability to reach a peak brightness of 4,000 nits. The device features a 480 Hz common contact sampling rate and a 2160 Hz instantaneous contact sampling frequency. Lastly, the panel features a sophisticated 3840Hz PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) dimming mechanism.

Across the rear, there is a Sony-made IMX906 50-megapixel 1/1.56-inch primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. The upfront features a high-resolution 20-megapixel selfie camera.

Equipped with a robust 5,500mAh battery and bolstered by rapid 120W charging capabilities, the K70 Excessive Version hums along with unwavering power and efficiency. The Xiaomi Pengpai P2 chip ensures seamless screen charging, while the G1 chip takes meticulous care of battery health.

The Lamborghini-branded Champion Version comes in a singular 24 GB/1 TB configuration, priced at CNY 3,999, approximately €500, £420, $550, or INR 46,000.
