Apple and Major League Baseball (MLB) today announced their August “Friday Evening Baseball” schedule.
Apple and Major League Baseball (MLB) have unveiled their schedule for “Friday Night Baseball,” a weekly doubleheader available exclusively to Apple TV+ subscribers throughout the entire 2024 regular season, with games airing every Friday. Fans across 60 international locations and regions now have the opportunity to enjoy two premier matchups spanning 26 weeks, unrestricted by local broadcast limitations.
The “Friday Evening Baseball” broadcast features a unique team of experts behind the announcer desks, comprising play-by-play commentators Wayne Randazzo and Alex Faust, analysts Dontrelle Willis and Ryan Spilborghs, and sideline reporters Heidi Watney and Tricia Whitaker. Three veteran Major League Baseball umpires, Ted Barrett, Brian Gorman, and Dale Scott, disassemble the rules and judgments each week in a detailed analysis. Recreational assignments for announcers are expected to be disseminated on a regular weekly basis.
