As of 2014, RoboSense supplies components and software solutions to the robotics industry. A Shenzhen, China-headquartered company has pledged to become the global leader in robotics expertise platforms.

Lidar, a technology once reserved for niche applications, is poised to revolutionize the automotive and industrial sectors with its digital dawn.

RoboSense has introduced three cutting-edge digital lidar sensors tailored specifically for use in both the automotive and robotics industries. It is said to have achieved “unparalleled advancements in scope, discernment, and accuracy”.

The EM4 is touted as the world’s initial “thousand-beam” ultra-long-range automotive-grade digital lidar, boasting 1,080 beams and a detection range of up to 600 meters (1,969.5 feet). According to RoboSense, EM4 provides a 1080p high-definition 3D experience.

RoboSense’s E1R solid-state digital lidar technology leverages the company’s proprietary SPAD and 2D VCSEL chip designs to ensure high-grade reliability for robotics applications. With its sleek design featuring a compact aperture and expansive 120° x 90° field of view. RoboSense has asserted that its E1R technology is well-suited for tasks such as obstacle avoidance, mapping, and navigation, making it a versatile solution for a range of robots operating in diverse environments.

The Ethereal, a 192-line hemispherical digital lidar, offers a comprehensive 360° × 90° field of view in a compact, ping-pong ball-like design, according to the company. This sensor boasts an impressive detection range of 120 meters, processing up to 1.72 million features per second, with a precision of ±1 centimeter, making it ideal for robots operating in complex environments that demand omnidirectional perception.

Humanoid seamlessly converges imaginative capabilities with visuospatial perception, manual dexterity, and locomotive aptitudes.

  1. RoboSense has unveiled the Energetic Digital Camera, a cutting-edge ecosystem comprising hardware, sophisticated computational cores, and AI-driven algorithms. By integrating lidar data with visual information, the Energetic Digital Camera provides a precise and nuanced understanding of its surroundings, effectively mitigating limitations such as variable lighting conditions and visual distortions. By leveraging the Builders’ proprietary software development kit (SDK), construction teams can effortlessly integrate mapping, localization, and obstacle avoidance features, thereby reducing project timelines and simplifying overall system functionality.

Robosense has officially unveiled Papert 2.0, the company’s upgraded, highly advanced robotic hand featuring an unprecedented twenty levels of freedom and seamless integration with eye-tracking technology to establish a sophisticated closed-loop system, revolutionizing human-robot interaction. At this year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES), RoboSense will showcase its freshly introduced products at booth number 6700, located in the West Corridor of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
