As my two-year-old enthusiastically declares “It’s Halloween!”, a sense of excitement and anticipation permeates the air. After being gently corrected, they softly whisper “Halloween is all done”, their tone revealing a hint of disappointment. I understand their sentiment – as much as I adore Christmas, there’s something undeniably charming about Halloween too.
As winter’s grip on the world begins to loosen, it’s essential to acknowledge that even amidst the shortest days of the year, the sun’s trajectory is slowly shifting, gradually bringing forth more light.
