Simone Giertz rose to fame in the 2010s as the self-proclaimed “Queen of Shitty Robots,” earning notoriety for her ingenious yet imperfect creations. She showcased an impressive array of self-built gadgets, including a headboard-mounted alarm clock featuring a lifelike rubber hand, which functioned surprisingly well despite its unconventional purpose.
Having leveraged her online reputation, she has established a design firm specializing in creating branded products for industrial clients. The corporate identity stems from the correct pronunciation of Giertz’s Swedish name. Her debut product, a daily wear, gained traction with prominent retailers such as the esteemed boutiques in New York City. Since then, she has maintained a consistent output of industrial products, complemented by occasional bespoke creations designed specifically for her online audience.

I must confess that I harbour a peculiar fondness for self-suffering. Having spent considerable time developing content for both YouTube and various social media platforms. To challenge myself and ensure long-term success in my career. I’m not particularly driven to consistently try and persuade others to give me attention. It’s challenging to justify the effort required when the potential reward seems uncertain. In previous years, I would often ask myself, “What do I hope to achieve in the remaining years of my career?” One key goal has consistently driven me: growing products. I’m quite satisfied with how this works? I’m thoroughly enjoying myself, despite the occasional cringe-worthy moment.

While product improvement may feel like repetitive cycles, in reality, it’s more akin to spiraling upward, with each iteration guiding us toward a clearer destination.
Make issues that need. Many assume that a diverse range of consumers are their main focus, but for me, the primary target audience is my own self. I believe that whenever I stumble upon something captivating, it is likely that others share my enthusiasm for it as well. Discover and cultivate strong relationships with talented professionals who share your values and work ethic? It’s rare to find a solitary individual who excels without external influences.
