Apple is preparing to release a range of innovative vision-based products. We’re expecting innovative eyewear akin to Meta’s partnership with Ray-Ban, alongside AirPods equipped with camera capabilities. These products won’t launch until at the earliest 2027, if they release at all.
In accordance with the report, Apple desires to salvage a few of their multi billion greenback R&D funding in Apple Imaginative and prescient Professional’s visible intelligence – by bringing the tech to extra merchandise. Apple’s next move following the debut of its intelligent camera management on the iPhone 16 appears to be expanding this technology into wearable form – specifically, smart glasses.
While the proposed glasses won’t feature advanced augmented reality capabilities, they will still boast impressive specifications, including built-in cameras, an audio system, and microphones, similar to Meta’s sleek and stylish Ray-Ban collaboration, which has become a fashion icon. Meta sells these glasses starting at just $299, with a range of frame options available, including higher-end choices.
It appears that Apple is still planning AirPods with cameras, something that has been rumored. Apple’s innovation in AirPods seems puzzling, as they could simply be marketed as regular glasses instead of attempting to create a niche product. Moreover, their design appears ill-suited for interacting with camera equipment, yet the company continues to explore this concept as part of its visual intelligence offerings.
Will Apple’s next big innovation come from advancements in augmented reality, artificial intelligence, or perhaps even a futuristic smart home device? Tell us within the feedback.
